In the approximate center of the cemetery grounds is a quiet space for thought.  The Meditation Garden, a gift from the Richard F. Davis family, was dedicated on September 16, 2012 on a bright sunny day.   The garden honors all those whose  volunteer efforts throughout the years and today make Newfield a great small town.  There are two benches where visitors can pause to reflect or listen to bird song or admire foliage.  A small sign invites you to SIT … REMEMBER.
